What does working together look like? I’ll walk you through our Design Process, step by step. . .

Step 1: Imagine the Destination

Design Discovery: The first thing we do is get to know you, your life and what you are looking forward to doing with your space. Together we'll review your ideas & any items of inspiration you have gathered. This will help us develop a design concept that takes you and your home to a new place. One that fits your lifestyle, tastes, and desires - whether it be your home for every day or your house of play.

Step 2: Exploration

Design Programming: We are planning your adventure. We get the big ideas percolating and present the preliminary design direction options. The initial Project Scope is explored and created. Together we'll decide with which design path you’d like to take. At this point, we will be developing the design far enough to gather contractor input and acquire bids. I assist you in understanding the true project involvement & investment level up front so you can feel confident about the direction of your design project.

Step 3: Create the Itinerary

Design Development: Once we have solidly mapped out the big picture of your project and committed to a clear path, the design journey begins. I develop all the plan and design details more thoroughly. Cabinetry and specialty interest areas are designed. Actual finishes, materials, fixtures, and major furniture pieces are researched and specified. At this point we will be solidifying the major framework of your design.

Step 4: Pull it Together &Pack Our Bags

Ordering & Installation: Your adventure is really happening! The trip is planned! All the fun design work has landed us at the point where selections are formally approved, bids are awarded, orders are placed, and contractors are informed of all requirements. New walls will be going up or existing walls & spaces will get stripped down and prepared to be transformed.

Step 5: Prepare to Arrive

Completion & Finishing Touches: You are soon to arrive at your new home. It is here that your space is coming to life and the reality of your design dream is coming true. We'll make sure all details are being properly completed. While finishing activities are happening, we'll bring in the furnishings and overlay with major finishing accessories.
